In a bizarre crossover event that breaks traditional predictions, Ubisoft has revealed an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

According to the official announcement, "An unusual encounter draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where whispers of forbidden practices and fearsome metamorphoses resonate through the darkness." The plot presents a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a hidden cult.
The questline focuses on "peculiar trials and a fearsome foe" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Transformations
The preview highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview finishes with a powerful moment showing a character, probably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
